Solving an age-old problem
Today's cargo owners still on occasion encounter the age old problem-`product not
free-flowing'. Many circumstances can lead to a cargo or part cargo arriving in caked
conditions which do not meet the requirements of the agriculture industry. To solve the
problem, Inspectorate's team of professionals will take the following preventative
measures.
...Special attention to fines.
Checking that cargo loaded conforms to all contract specifications,
with particular attention to excessive quantities of fines, since for
certain solid cargoes this can result in product caking.
...Protecting against adverse events.
Inspectorate will ensure, in defence of their principal's interests,
that
no events take place that could jeopardise the consignment, as many
happen in periods of adverse weather.
...Controlling temperature.
Throughout loading, temperature control will be performed and
Inspectorate clients immediately contacted if any irregularities are found.
...Anti-caking alert.
On request, Inspectorate will determine if the product has been
treated with an anti-caking agent and will inform all parties concerned.
Specialist Task Force Operations
For those circumstances which do not permit the execution of a normal operation,
Inspectorate has developed a `rapid deployment task force' of specialist inspectors who
can be dispatched quickly to act on your behalf. Their years of experience in working
under difficult conditions testifies to Inspectorate's commitment to client service and to
the protection of your cargoes.
